Join us every Saturday morning in September for a fun and delicious baking class with Pastry Chef Amanda Baker! Each week, spend 2 hours in the kitchen learning baking techniques and tricks en route to completing a beautiful dessert! Everyone will take home what they bake at the end of each class.

Rosemary Orange Cake
Learn how to bake a rosemary orange cake. While the cake is baking, learn how to create candied orange and lemon peels.
Please tie long hair back and wear closed toe shoes. Limited to 12 people. This class is intended for adults. Please email any questions to email@example.com.
Amanda Baker is a pastry from the Boston area and a graduate of Johnson and Wales University. She started her career in a small chocolate shop in Providence, RI called Ocean State Chocolates. After, she moved to the Boston area and worked at a number of different bakeries including Quabrada Baking Company, Crème Café in Harvard Square, and few trending cupcake shops. Amanda was then given the opportunity to work at the Cambridge School of Culinary Art where she started a decade long path of teaching adult and children classes. When the possibility to take a seasonal position on Nantucket came up, Amanda jumped at the opportunity. She had often vacationed on this beautiful island so it was an easy move. During her first season here, Amanda started as the Pastry Chef at Cru Oyster Bar and created a kids class curriculum for Nantucket Culinary. Three years later, she now holds the position of Pastry Chef at the Nantucket Yacht Club.
