Our Loving Community – Food from 7 Banned Countries

Description

There is something magical about this time of year when our little island is quiet. Our focus turns away from long laborious work days and now we have more time to reconnect with our neighbors, friends and family. We are grateful for the community on this island and feel that it is our social responsibility to help make sure everyone has the opportunity to belong to a loving community. 

Join us for a cultural evening where Chef Greg will put together a dinner demo showcasing dishes from the seven countries currently on the travel ban list: Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Libya, Yemen.

            Basboosa (Semolina cake) with cinnamon tea

A portion of the  proceeds will be donated towards the ACLU.

Dinner is limited to 24 guests
