Coffee Talk in honor of The Monk of Mokha

As part of the week-long celebration of One Book, One Island (OBOI) Monk of Mokha, join us for a free COFFEE TALK with Amirah and Abdulrahman, two entrepreneurs with love of their coffee heritage and owners of the new QAWA Coffee Company of Middleton, CT.  Both originally from Yemen, the heritage and birthplace of coffee, we are delighted to host an informal coffee tasting, pour-over demonstration and discussion on the current plan to export coffee from Yemen.

Abdulrahman, who holds a Masters Degree from Columbia University, opened a coffee shop in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona before meeting and marrying Amirah, a Rothschilds Fellow, graduate of an Executive Business Degree from the University of Cambridge. Amirah also is the owner of an internationally recognized online modest fashion brand, Amirah Couture, which has more than 150,000 followers worldwide.
