Cooking from the Classics – In honor of Nantucket Book Festival


Enjoy this family style meal and cooking lesson with Chef Greg as he explores favorites from James Beard, Julia Child  and Craig Claiborne in honor of Nantucket Book Festival.


Craig Claiborne’s Cucumber Appetizer

            Thinly sliced cucumbers in a spiced yogurt sauce

James Beard’s Green Bean Salad

            Blanched and marinated green beans with fried shallots

Craig Claiborne’s Welsh Rarebit

            Toasted fresh bread topped with a savory cheese sauce

Julia Child’s Beef Bourguignon

            A delicious beef stew made with wine

Julia Child’s Crepe Suzette

            A classic French dessert with orange liqueur, crepes, & vanilla ice cream
