"My love for food and my sense of adventure continued into adulthood. I went to cooking school in Crete; learned Southern, Cajun, and Creole cooking in Texas, and then became a local legend for wild game cooking in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. From all of these experiences and influences came the essence of The Durango Chef. Being a home chef has been a sheer delight for me. I've been given the opportunity to share with others what I've learned over the years about cooking and food (and what a pleasure it is to be paid to do something I love so much). You can tell when someone really loves what they're doing—especially with cooking."
