Liz Weiss, MS, RDN, is a registered dietitian, cookbook author, food blogger and podcaster. She's the voice behind the Liz's Healthy Table podcast and blog and a regular chef guest on Boston 25 News. Her approach to food and nutrition is one of celebration versus deprivation. Liz advocates (and eats) a mostly plant-based, Mediterranean-style diet, rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and seafood. Her family's favorite summer dessert is this naturally sweet fruit crisp made with peaches, berries, apples, and a nut & oat topping. When Liz isn't cooking here on Nantucket, you can find her in Lexington, MA.
