‘Feast of the Seven Fishes;’ an Italian-American Christmas Eve Celebration

This year during Stroll Weekend, Nantucket Culinary welcomes you into the demonstration kitchen for an interactive dining experience that will explore the ‘Feast of the Seven Fishes;’ an Italian-American Christmas Eve celebration.

To help us better understand this holiday tradition we welcome Dr. Christine Stamm, an Italian cultural cuisine professor at Johnson & Wales. While she takes us on a cultural journey,  two talented chefs and culinary educators will be preparing and plating the meal:

-Jim Griffin: Sustainable Seafood expert and Associate Dean at Johnson & Wales University

-Tom Vaccaro: Dean of Pastry at the Culinary Institute of America
