Nantucket Culinary is pleased to present our "Kids in the Kitchen" Summer Program every Tuesday and Thursday morning.
We've created a wonderful curriculum focusing on experiential learning in our beautiful kitchens.
In this class, 6 - 9 y/o kids will be welcomed and directed to a work station set up for the days activities - our amazing teacher Kwan will work with kids to create Colorful Cake Pops. Kids will make use cake to create cake balls then decorate and bring home their food art.
Chef Kwan grew up in southern Thailand, and through tradition, became familiar with the kitchen at an early age in order to help her mother cook for the rest of the family. Kwan focuses on sculptural details and food art with a degree University of Thailand. After many years of cooking, this truly amazing chef hardly relies on the guidance of recipes, rather, she cooks from her heart and commits it all to memory.
