Farm to Fork Cooking Class for Kids (6-10 year olds)

Description

Join Sustainable Nantucket this Spring for Children’s Farm to Fork Cooking Classes at the Nantucket Culinary Center!

Children ages 6-10 will develop new culinary skills, enjoy new recipes with locally grown and sustainably- sourced food, and learn more about how food affects our bodies and our community!

Lessons will bring Farm to School from the garden to the kitchen as young chefs enjoy this fun, hands-on program!

Classes will be co-instructed by Farm to School Staff and Nantucket chefs.

April 3 -   Andrea Solimeo, Executive Chef, Ventuno, will join SN staff to whip up fabulous sustainably-sourced food.

  • The Class is 2 hours and limited to 14 children.
  • Best for kids 6-10 years old.
  • You will be standing, cooking and working at your own station for most of the class.
  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
  • Enjoy sampling the dishes made throughout the class.
  • Each session will be different - sign up for one or all!
