An Introduction to Cooking Thai Food

One of the many great things about the culinary world is how diverse the professional field is. Different cultures, experiences and educational training gives us the opportunity to indulge in food made with passion. Here, at the Culinary Center, we are always looking to share our facilities with such talent. Join us as we welcome Chef Kwan into our kitchen for a Thai cooking demonstration and dinner. 


Chef Kwan grew up in southern Thailand, and through tradition, became familiar with the kitchen at an early age in order to help her mother cook for the rest of the family. While Kwan has a very simplistic style to cooking, you will find a lot of intricate sculptural details put into her dishes as a result from time spent studying art at the University of Thailand. After many years of cooking, this truly amazing chef hardly relies on the guidance of recipes, rather, she cooks from her heart and commits it all to memory.


In this class Kwan will teach how to make Egg rolls, Cucumber salad, Massaman curry with chicken, potato and rice and  Bananas in coconut milk.


Limited to 24 people.
